Every year in the dead of winter since 1973, Sandpoint, Idaho, cooks up a sure antidote to cabin fever. It’s the Sandpoint Winter Carnival, pure fun celebrating the best of the snowy season.

Our annual Winter Carnival includes fireworks and fun at Schweitzer, live music all over town, parties galore plus other traditional faves from the opening Parade of Lights to the closing, classic K9 Keg Pull. Check out our 2026 events on the Events page, and be sure to check back for updates!
